Nest
Accessed by footbridge and overlooking the Salish Sea, this aerie is home-base and expedition headquarters for an avid climber and outdoor enthusiast. A concrete base emerges from bedrock and anchors light cantilevered volumes of the upper levels. Embraced by winglike screen elements, split-level living spaces overlap and intertwine, culminating in an expansive outdoor room nestled in the treetops.
